PROBUS Outdoors Club – Dugas Bay

This week we will be exploring the islands east of Dugas Bay starting from the Elks Lodge #25 Family Park Conservation Area off Highway 17 East. Please have your boats in the water and ready to paddle for 10:00am. 

Directions:
east on highway 17 – left hand side,
approximately 7 minutes from Northgate Mall according to google maps,
drive past Birch Cove Road,
almost directly across from the turnoff sign for La Vase Portages Conservation Area,

turn left into the Elks Lodge Family Park.
If you pass the La Vase Portages Conservation Area, you have gone too far.
There is parking, a washroom, a sandy beach, benches and a picnic table.

Things to bring:
lawn chairs,
lunch,
paddling suggestions for the next few weeks.
