PROBUS Outdoors Club – Pimisi Bay

This week we will be exploring Pimisi Bay starting from the Pimisi Bay Rest Stop/Picnic Area off Highway 17 East. Please have your boats in the water and ready to paddle for 10:00am.
Directions:
east on highway 17,
approximately 27 minutes from Northgate Mall according to google maps,
watch for the “picnic table” sign east of Rutherglen,
left turn off highway 17,
if you reach the Samuel de Champlain Prov Park entrance, you have gone too far,
there is lots of parking, washrooms and picnic tables.
Things to bring:
running shoes for climbing rocks (the adventure continues),
lunch,
paddling suggestions for the next few weeks.
