PROBUS Outdoors Club – hiking @ Restoule

Hi Folks.

 

We are starting our hiking season on Thursday Oct. 6th 2022. Be prepared to start the hike at 10:00 a.m. Bring your lawn chairs and lunches. We will be hiking in Restoule Prov Park. Once you have paid your daily park fee, drive to the group picnic area beside the bridge near the rapids (ask the rangers for directions if needed). We will hike either the Gibs Trail (4.8 km) or the Fire Tower Trail (4.1). Trail conditions will determine which trail we hike. The weather forecasts for the park this coming Thursday are varied but they are all calling for rain. Hmmm, I will have to email everyone very early Thursday a.m. if I have to cancel the hike due to the weather.
