PROBUS Outdoors Club – Roberts’ cottage

This is an invitation to all members of the Outdoor group.
On Thursday, August 3rd you are invited to drive out to our cottage in Nipissing Village. If you wish to come early around lunch time, with your brown bag lunch and eat outside at our cottage and enjoy the great outdoors. John and I will be paddling with the paddlers but will return sometimes after lunch. There will be light refreshments and hot coffee once I arrive back at our dock with the paddlers. Some of the paddlers may just paddle by on their way to Chapman’s Landing to load their boat and head home. Hopefully some will not be too tired after their paddle and will drive the 3 minute drive to our cottage for social time. There are some benches near the dock. There is some seating on our pontoon boat too. Bocce and Ladder Ball lawn games will be set out too. There are plenty of chairs on the deck, and some in the screened-in porch. Down by the water, the washroom and bunkie will be open. The bunkie or the sauna can be used as change rooms if people wish to swim.

Directions to our cottage
- Highway #11 south.
- Exit #329 turn right onto Highway #654 towards Nipissing Village for approximately 21 km. If you pass the Nipissing museum you have done too far.
- Cross over the bridge on the South River and turn right onto Chapman’s Landing Road.
- Follow Chapman’s Landing Road, turn left to stay on Chapman’s Landing Road (there maybe a no exit sign). Do not drive down the hill.
- Drive through South River Resort.
- We are the 3rd driveway on the right. #290. There is a yellow sign with our name on the sign.
