PROBUS Outdoors Club – Samuel de Champlain

Thursday June 15th meet at Samuel de Champlain provincial park. Please be ready to paddle for 10:00 a.m. Once you have paid for your day pass (I believe one pays at the park store) head to the launch site at Campion Rapids (on the Mattawa River). The paddle route will be downriver to an area called The Gut. The plan is to paddle to the end of the bay in The Gut, land, lunch and do the return paddle. There is a waterfall to check out that can be a possible second stop on the return part of the paddle.

There are washrooms and parking near the launch site.
