Due to the warmer weather and some general discussion after the hike on Thursday, we will start the paddling season this coming Thursday, May 18th, 2023.

 

It’s spring and the water is not warm yet, so we will be paddling in small bodies of water, close to shore at the beginning of the season. Life jackets to be worn when paddling. 

 

Thursday, May 18th, La Vase River. Meet at the Champlain Park boat launch. Arrive  in plenty of time to unload your boat, park your car, walk back to the boat launch and be ready to paddle for 10:00 a.m.  Whew! It will not be a long paddle, but it should be a pretty one. 

Please bring your lawn chair, snack  etc. for social time. 

 

On Thursday, May 25th we will be launching from Pimisi Bay and paddling to Talon Chutes. Maybe time to bring our lunches for this outing.
