PROBUS Outdoors Club – Canadore to Duchesnay Falls

This week (Thursday, June 11) we will be exploring the trails at Canadore.  Park at the end of Cedar Heights Road. Walk through the gate and we will meet there. Betty the Adventurer  (phrase coined by Lorna) has scouted out the route we will take. We will start on Geese Trail, then onto North Duchesnay and to the creek. The entire route should take us 2 hours in total. There are some stepping stones to cross over and a fallen tree to get across – nothing we can’t handle. Please bring a hiking pole or walking poles. Sturdy hiking boots that you won’t mind getting a wee bit muddy are also advised. The warm weather hopefully will dry out muddy areas of the trail.
