PROBUS Outdoors Club – Cranberry / Osprey Links

Thank you to all who were able to attend the outing at Bella Hill last Thursday. I am aware that it is a busy time of year with so many other events going on. The weather was perfect with a sprinkling of fresh snow in the bush and the creeks still open and running. A  campfire complete with freshly sharpened roasting sticks and marshmallows was a nice touch. Lori and Dan later said how much they enjoyed hosting the Probus group again. I know for a fact that Ranger (their dog) did too. Thanks Richard for your great photos. I forwarded them to all those who attended, plus Lori and Dan. 

 

Hopefully we can hike and have a tour at Long’s Maple bush sometime in the spring. 

 

This week we will be meeting at Cranberry Trails parking lot (Callander). Depending on the conditions of the trails, we may explore the trails towards the golf course/lake or the main trail. 

 

 

Plan to stay for social time this week. There will be two kinds of homemade pizzelle cookies offered. Both Sandra and John will be busy making some of these delicious Italian cookies to share.
