PROBUS Outdoors Club – Bella Hill Maple Syrup

This week on Thursday, December 8th it will be our annual outing to Bella Hill Maple Farm. The following groups have been invited to join us; Bob’s Tuesday and Friday Probus Walkers, Olive’s Monday walkers/hikers and Helena’s Thursday Slow Poke Walkers. The not so great news is that space is limited to only 40 people so here is the plan. Please email Barb on Tuesday, December 6th to reserve your spot. The first 40 emails that I receive on Tuesday will be on the list. Directions will be sent with your confirmation.

Start time is 10:00 a.m. Bring your lunch, lawn chair and beverage for the campfire. 

There will be a guided hike (breaking up into two groups). There will be a brief tour of their maple sugar shack, and an opportunity to buy maple products (only if you wish). There is also an inside washroom  just in case you were wondering. 

There will be a jar set up with an opportunity to make a donation to the Powassan Food Bank. The money donated will be under the Probus name of both clubs.
