PROBUS Outdoors Club – Stepping Stones

Thanks to  all the folks who were able to attend the hike last Thursday.  It’s always a lovely hike on those trails. 

 

On Thursday, February 2nd we will be exploring some more of the Stepping Stones trails. We will only be on the Blue trail which is classified as Easy. This past fall we hiked the Red trail along the waterfront which is classified as challenging. 

Check out the map below. Depending on the weather and condition of the trails we can decide if we want to hike the entire Blue trail or just part of it.  Parking will be at the end of Stepping Stone Lane, which is off of McPherson Drive. For those of you who were on the hike in the fall, we will use the same trail entrance, but take the Blue trail. Dress for the weather, the forecast is for colder weather.

From highway #17 turn onto Centennial Road and continue along Centennial Road onto McPherson Drive. Drive to the very end of McPherson Drive, turn right onto Stepping Stones Lane which is a dead end. Park towards the end where the trail head access is.
