LOTS on the agenda this month.
We have lined up for you an amazing guest speaker this month – Backroads Bill Steer. Backroads Bill has a passion for Northern Ontario and the great outdoors. He is the founder of the Canadian Ecology Centre and remains as the General Manager / Head Master of one of Canada’s leading environmental education centres. It is based on the CEC’s M.A.D.E principle – make a difference environmentally. He also developed the national geomatics certification program. His latest article – relevant to these times – Nature is the Best Medicine Go Outside … Responsibly. Let Bill explain in detail the benefits of ‘Open Air Therapy’. Join us next Tuesday for this exciting guest.
Greg Godin has toured the Motherhouse as a possible meeting location. It is available for our use once we are back together meeting live. Lots of room, free parking, beautiful view, coffee/lunch can also be provided at a reasonable rate from the cafeteria.

Question: How many people from Blue Sky PROBUS will have received at least one vaccination by our meeting on May 11th ? The winner will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Twiggs. Send your answer to : email@example.com. All members must submit their number of those vaccinated before 4:30 on the Friday (May 7th) preceding our May 11th meeting. Please note : two members cannot have the same number ( no ties allowed) The sooner you send in your number the better. You must be present at the May 11th meeting to be eligible. You must pick the exact # of those vaccinated.

From coffee to wine. Let’s get ready for our first wine and cheese PROBUS gathering. We will cover this in more detail during our meeting on Tuesday. Save the date : April 13th.

Wine 1 – Trius VQA Sauvignon Blanc – paired with BeemsterX-O Gouda and Emmentaler Swiss Bread Sticks wrapped in prosciutto and olives
Wine 2 – Inniskillin Niagara Estate Pinot Noir VQA – paired with Emmental Swiss Celeberty GoatCheese with herbs Pear slices, salami, crackers
